How to make the hug in heaven AI video from two photos

By Vellm ·

In the hug in heaven video, also called the heaven reunion hug, someone runs up a stairway of golden light through the clouds. At the top, a person is waiting in a glowing doorway with their arms open, and the two of them hold each other. Many people make it for someone they have lost.

To make one, open the Heaven Hug template and upload two photos: one of you, and one of the person you miss. You get a 10-second vertical video (9:16) for 50 credits.

What happens, beat by beat

TimeWhat you see
0–3 sSide view: the first person runs up glowing stairs, clouds on both sides.
3–4 sThe camera moves behind them. A figure appears in a bright doorway at the top.
4–6.5 sSeen from behind, they keep running as the person at the top opens their arms.
6.5–10 sThey meet and hold each other, close to the camera, as small lights drift around them.

The last three and a half seconds are the hug, and the camera stays with it.

Choosing the two photos

Photo 1 is you: the person who runs up the stairs, seen from the side and from behind. Photo 2 is the one waiting in the doorway at the top. Both are required, and each photo should show one person.

What matters most:

Use only photos you have the right to use.

Before you share it

This is an AI-made scene, not a memory, and faces may look a little different from the photos. Watch the whole video before you share it, especially if it is going to family. Whether you post it or keep it for yourself is up to you.

Making it

Add your photo as Photo 1 and theirs as Photo 2 on the Heaven Hug template, then generate. You do not need an account for a one-time purchase. It usually takes about 10–15 minutes.

You can download it two ways. If you post it, use the silent version and choose a sound inside TikTok or Reels. The version with the original clip's sound is for personal viewing only.

One video is 50 credits, covered by the 50-credit pack for $6.99. Larger packs lower the price per video; see pricing.
